SKI DESIGN AND MATERIALS
Our skis are constructed with traditional layup methods using a variety of materials based on the requirements of the individual skier. Core material can be pine, douglas fir, poplar, maple or spruce.  Laminents include 16- 22oz triaxial fiberglass, carbon fiber, kevlar and titanal. We now have the option to laminate a Brazilian IPE strip to the core blank to provide a  full wood core with a very durable sidewall. ABS or Ptex sidewalls and tip/ tail spacers are also available. Core blanks are dovetailed to the the tip and tail spacers. VDS rubber dampeners are used between metal edge and glass plys. Additional 22oz Fiberglass plys are added to the waist of the ski to reinforce binding mounting screw penetrations. We will also offer graphic design assistance or incorporation for your skis custom topsheet using a range of materials and sublimation printing.
